Hey, I'm Amy. A Dublin based, contemporary gestural abstract painter and creative.

My work explores the emotional resonance of nostalgia, music and sound as it passes through the body and the senses. I create paint with fluidity that permeates the canvas in a similar way, reaching for whatever colour or medium that feels instinctual in the moment, resulting in truly one of a kind artworks.

The paintings I've been creating in 2026 are the product of a very unexpected year of deep introspection. I'm almost always accompanied by music both when I think and paint. I love to create paint with fluidity that permeates, in the same way that music resonates with the deepest parts of my soul. This collection is the most honest realisation of that sensation so far.
